The Department of Political Science and Global Affairs at the College of Staten Island is looking for adjuncts to teach a variety of Geography courses in the Fall of 2015 and Spring of 2016.

We invite those interested to indicate which course (or courses) they are interested in teaching, and to provide a CV, and if available, a teaching statement and a sample syllabus.
Please send your application package to Dr. Cary Karacas: cary.karacas@csi.cuny.edu

FALL 2015

Introduction to Geography
(This course will have around 90 students. Though this is a 3 credit course, you will be paid for 4.5 credits)
Mon 4:40pm-5:30pm / Wed 4:40pm-6:20pm

SPRING 2016
We are looking for an adjunct to teach 2 courses, back to back, meeting Mon/Wed or Tue/Th (your choice).
The benefit of teaching 2 courses in one semester is that you will be provided with health insurance.  Ideally, we would like someone to teach one 100 level course (World Regional or Intro to Geog) and one 200 level Regional course (either Latin America, Africa, or East Asia) – based on the applicants’ expertise.
