Position: Part-Time Instructor Environmental Biology and Environmental Management
Division: Mathematics & Science
Salary: Commensurate with Experience
Reports To: Division Chair Mathematics and Science
Term: Fall 2019

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in Environmental Science from a regionally accredited institution or a Master’s Degree in Biology with 18 graduate credit hours in Ecology/Environmental Science.

Minimum of one year experience teaching Environmental Biology, Environmental Management, EPA 40 hour HAZWOPER and 40 Hour OSHA lectures and Labs at the college level. Qualified to teach renewable energy certification courses.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Three years’ experience teaching Environmental Biology, Environmental Management, EPA 40 hour HAZWOPER and 40 Hour OSHA lectures and Labs at the college level.

Teaching Environmental Biology and Environmental Management lectures and Labs at the college level.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach Environmental Biology and Environmental Management courses, keep regular office hours, serve on committees and participate in appropriate professional development activities. Willingness to teach workforce development trainings to industry personnel as needed. Other duties as assigned by the division chair.
