“Submerged Marine Habitat Mapping: A Foundation for Enhancing Resilience to Climate Change and Other Stressors”
— In brief, we are seeking a qualified investigator(s) to map and inventory portions of the submerged habitats associated with Fire Island National Seashore, Gateway National Recreation Area, and Assateague Island National Seashore.
— Approximately $300,000 per park is expected to be available for this project

“Elevation mapping of critical park areas for planning and post- and future storm evaluation and modeling purposes”
— In brief, we are seeking a qualified investigator(s) to support and enhance the geospatial framework and infrastructure of the parks affected by Hurricane Sandy with field work including collection of enhanced elevation data, water level data, and the installation of new geodetic infrastructure as needed.
— Approximately $850,000 is expected to be available for this project
