2015 AAG Sexuality and Space Specialty Group Student Paper Competition The Sexuality and Space Specialty Group of the Association of American Geographers is pleased to invite submissions for the 2015 Sexuality and Space Student Paper Competition. Winners will be notified prior to the 2015 Annual Meeting of the AAG in Chicago, and will be honored at the Awards Banquet. The submission deadline is Monday, March 30, 2015. This is a new dissertation fellowship for social science students, focused on community-based research. The Marilyn J. Gittell Dissertation Fellowship, established in honor of the late Political Science Professor at the CUNY Graduate Center, is for a social science doctoral candidate working on areas that concerned Marilyn Gittell, especially research focused on cities, urban politics, public policy, democratic and civic engagement, social movements, citizenship and governance, and community practices, both domestically and abroad.
