Human Geography Lectureships in Newcastle, UK

The School of Geography, Politics and Sociology at Newcastle University seeks to appoint four Lectureships in Human Geography tenable from September 2014. Geography at Newcastle University seeks to deliver world-leading, agenda setting, and societally engaged research and to apply this to our relevant and high quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes. We seek applicants who can contribute to the strategic agendas of one or more of our research areas, and we would welcome in particular applicants working in:

– quantitative human geography,
– political geography,
– social and cultural geography,
– development geography, or
– environmental/economic sustainability.

You will be expected to make a contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and to undertake supervision of postgraduate students.
